- Do not include client names, identifying details, or case-specific information that could breach confidentiality.
- Posts should remain generic and comply with ethical obligations.
Respectful & Professional Conduct
- Be professional and courteous at all times.
- Strong disagreements are allowed, but always maintain a respectful tone.
- Do not disparage any person, agency, or entity, including prosecutors' offices or other state agencies.
- Profanity is prohibited, unless directly quoting facts from a case.
Posting Guidelines
- This forum is for AACJ members only. Do not forward any forum or listserve messages under any circumstances.
- Only use “Reply All” if the response adds value for all members (e.g., sharing a motion or article). Avoid using “Reply All” for simple messages like “thanks” or “congratulations.”
Moderation Policy
- Members who violate these rules may receive a warning.
- Continued violations may result in posts being subject to moderator approval before publication.
